Give the young girls and young women in your life permission to be unique, to be fierce, to dance like no one is watching, permission to sing until they get it all out & to express their own perspectives, to form their own opinions (no one said act on it; I said FORM it), & the knowledge to learn independently. May we, as caregivers, handle them gently but firmly in compassion, empathy, wisdom, but most of all, love.....
